Its starting to get exciting around here. The Beginning Band Students have chosen their instruments (or have been chosen by their instrument)!
A flyer has been sent home regarding what they will need to purchase and the amount it will cost. On Monday September 9th, representatives from Harry's Music Store will be on site to sell the items that the students need, so please send with your child the appropriate amount. If your child already has some of the required supplies, deduct that from the total and send the appropriate amount. If you are unable to purchase on Monday September 9th, please go directly to Harry's ASAP to pick up what you need. (be sure to mention that you are a WMS Band Student)
Special note: If your child will be playing Trumpet, Clarinet, or Alto-Saxophone, your mouthpiece must be ordered separately through Mr. Ujimori. A different form will be sent home with information pertaining to those mouthpieces. We order these custom mouthpieces just for our students. They are of a much higher quality than all student mouthpieces and they should, in fact, be able to use them until the end of high school.
